Gamestorming

Essential resource: Gamestorming

At TYTHE, our small team knows how important it is to maximize your resources. When we find a new book or tool, we take full advantage. One of our perennial favorites is Gamestorming by Dave Gray, Sunni Brown, and James Macanufo. It’s a great place to begin integrating dynamic activities into your team environment and community, whether you’re new to design thinking or well-acquainted. One of our go-to activities is the 3-12-3 brainstorm—we find the extreme time limit forces us to get creative without overthinking.

It’s a fun and simple way to get ideas flowing and the team engaged before taking a deeper dive into one concept. Give 3-12-3 a try, and let us know what you think. We’d love to know what challenged you and what you loved about the process!
