Building a unique visual identity to showcase a summit of Brooklyn’s leading creatives and innovators.
TEDx independently organized conferences use share knowledge, innovation and “ideas worth spreading,” using short talks by interdisciplinary thought leaders. To highlight Brooklyn’s unique speakers, musicians, artists, and innovators, TEDxBrooklyn sought support in creating a graphic identity for its upcoming showcase
TYTHE collaborated with TEDxBrooklyn to identify an appropriate visual identity based on the spirit of the event, location, and the vision of the organizers. TYTHE designed print collateral featured on the t-shirts, programs, business cards, name badges and thank-you cards. TYTHE approached the project through a community-based lens, seeking to highlight the diversity and connectivity that defines the community.
A Visual Identity for Brooklyn’s Creative Talent
The resulting logo and campaign features the iconic Brooklyn Bridge not only as the premiere image of the borough, but also to emphasize the connectivity between places, people, and ideas that defines the community.
